Pay on Purpose collects only the information needed to deliver the complimentary chapter and, when you choose to remain subscribed, occasional field notes about the psychology of paying.

What we collect

When you request Chapter 1, we store your email address, the signup location on the site, and the date and time of your consent. The application does not store your IP address in the subscriber database. Standard hosting logs may temporarily contain technical information such as IP address, browser type, and requested pages.

How we use it

We use your email address to send the chapter link, occasional field notes, and essential messages about your subscription. We do not sell or rent subscriber information.

Service providers

Our web host, database host, and email-delivery services process information only as needed to operate the site and deliver messages. The site also loads fonts from Google, which may receive routine connection information from your browser.

Your choices

Every subscription email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops future field notes while retaining a suppression record so we can honor your choice. You may request access, correction, or deletion by emailing team@payonpurpose.com.

Retention and security

Active subscriber records are retained while the subscription remains active. We use reasonable technical safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
